Strengthening Community

 

St Andrew's Contact Group  involves volunteers who work to ensure that people living on their own and those who are becoming more elderly continue to be included in  the life  of the wider community.

Pop in Tea   is held in the Church Hall on the 2nd Tuesday of every month, from 2 - 4pm.  Tea, cakes and sandwiches accompanied by fun quizzes and often some form of entertainment are on offer for a modest donation.  Everyone is welcome to attend.

St Andrew's Mothers' Union seeks to support family life through various activities  including a Family Fun day in August. They meet the 3rd Tuesday of the month at 8 pm.

Messy Church at St. Andrew's is a Christian-based learning and worship opportunity, every 3rd Tuesday of the month at 3.30 - 5.30 pm, for primary aged children, their parents and carer - find out more

Praise and Play Toddler Group offers mums and little ones a large play area and lots of toys every 3rd Friday of the month 9.30-11 am in the Church Hall. The sessions also include a short Bible story, action songs and craft activities.

The Church Hall  i is available for groups or individuals to hire on a regular or one-off basis. Children's parties, exercise groups, and Girl Guides are some of the activities which take place.
