Hiring the Hall

The Hall

St Andrew’s Church Hall is available for use by the wider community. Currently many clubs and organisations meet on a regular basis here including Guides, Over 50’s dance group, Scottish Country Dancing, Weight Watchers, Little Kickers, etc.

The Hall is available for regular bookings or for one-off hire for special events.

Amenities in the hall include: full disabled access including toilet facilities; a servery, a small kitchen with microwave, two ovens and refrigerator, stage, fold out tables, smaller square tables, chairs, cutlery and dishes. (St Andrew’s is a Fairtrade Parish and groups using the facilities are encouraged to use fairly traded foodstuffs (tea and coffee in particular) whenever possible.)

• main hall - for 70 seated or 120 standing
• ground floor meeting room - for 20
• small lower floor room - for 8

Current Hall fees

• A £50 deposit is required for children’s parties
• A £100 deposit is required for larger functions  / adults etc
• No teenage parties
• No music after 10pm.  All functions to finish by 10.30pm, clear up by 11pm
• NB. Main Hall + Ground Floor meetingr oom together - £16.50 per hr (weekday)

As an Example, the cost for a 3 hour slot (2 hour party with half hour either side for setting and clearing up) would be £50 with a £50 deposit (refundable once hall checked for damage, cleanliness etc; paid in at time of booking). There is a servery there as part of the hall hire (sink for washing up, kettle etc) - but if you want a full kitchen (cooker, microwave, fridge etc) then there is an additional charge of £7 an hour.
