Baptism

,,‘For by one spirit we are all baptised into one body’ – 1 Corinthians 12:13

Baptism (also known as a Christening) marks the beginning of a journey with God and a joyful celebration of welcome into the Christian faith.

Baptism is the first of the sacraments.  Through this ‘window’ God’s love and grace are experienced in a special and powerful way.  Baptism is a joyful celebration of all that God has done for us and will continue to do as we walk through life with him.

When you are baptised, whether as a baby or more advanced in years, you become part of the family of the church.  This is not just in the parish where you live, but throughout the world.
