,,‘For by one spirit we are all baptised into one body’ – 1 Corinthians 12:13
- Note that our church capacity with COVID-19 social distancing is 60 people.
Baptism (also known as a Christening) marks the beginning of a journey with God and a joyful celebration of welcome into the Christian faith.
Baptism is the first of the sacraments. Through this ‘window’ God’s love and grace are experienced in a special and powerful way. Baptism is a joyful celebration of all that God has done for us and will continue to do as we walk through life with him.
When you are baptised, whether as a baby or more advanced in years, you become part of the family of the church. This is not just in the parish where you live, but throughout the world.
Baptisms usually take place on Sundays, by arrangement with Rev. Esther, from 11.30 am, after the Sung Eucharist. Please contact the Parish Office to find out more about the Baptism Service.
